The 16:9 hud isn't a romhack like in KH2FM so it doesn't break anything, definitely something you want enabled.ĮDIT: changed typos where I said trinity limit and twilight town rather than trinity and traverse town. 60fps toggle off (cutscenes, fmv and other scripted events) EDIT: OP ported Michael P's cheat to NTSC-J this cheat fixes FMVs, cutscenes, trinities, TT bell (although it doesn't consistently crash even without it), and Gummi Missions.
I'd love to check but apparently his onedrive got rekt. That is unless of course this guy really found some other way to do 60fps like he claims in the description. I started out my playthrough with the cheat but turned it off after I started noticing how many bugs there were. Generally everything seems a little broken with 60fps, you're probably better off playing at the native 30fps unless you really need it to be that little bit smoother and more responsive even at the cost of the integrity of the gameplay. It also fucks up the cutscenes, there's a fix for the regular KH1 where the cheat automatically toggles off during cutscenes but not for KH1FM.Īll this in addition to the truly broken stuff like Trinities and ringing the bell in Traverse Town crashing the game. I've run into issues like Riku standing still halfway through the race, Sabor getting stuck in the brush in Deep Jungle, the heartless seem to have animations sped up to 2x which makes it harder to parry. Gummi missions completely break, your gun shoots at double the speed so it makes everything easy.ĮDIT:Gummi missions now fixed with Michael P's cheat that OP ported to NTSC-J. That said 60fps has quite a few bugs, imo it's not really worth it. There was also another patch by sora6645 with some extra widescreen stuff and some of the bugs fixed and other bugs created but I don't think you can find it anywhere anymore as all the links, his youtube channel, and his blog are dead he made a new youtube channel but hasn't posted anything about the translation.
The WIP revision was linked in that thread if you want to try it, this revision still has a few glitches but he's actively working on it to get it as perfect as possible. There's a new translation patch being made by gledson999 which should be more complete and have less glitches.
